How to Verify Your EMF & Negative Ion Device is Working

How do we know when it's working or when it's not working? Let me just give an example. So if I put a solar panel in my yard, right? Of course I there's a voltmeter. That's a simplified, you know, that's a simplified explanation. But at least I can tell when the panel's working or if I get zero volts in sunshine, then I know something's wrong with the panel, right? Is there any kind of equivalent test or measurement to know when this device is working?
