Guadalajara Unrest: Witness Describes Distant Gunfire and Airport Panic

I've seen footage from the airport, the Guadalajara airport, I believe that showed, you know, people panicked and screaming and running. Uh there there have been many videos of automatic gunfire. What have you seen or heard yourself in terms of, you know, gunfire or explosions, if anything. Um we've heard a little bit of uh gunfire that's kind of faint from the distance, um and I you know, I think I heard, you know, one small explosion. Like it wasn't, it wasn't all that loud and frankly it's, it could have been something else. You know what I mean? I mean it, it was, it was that faint. So I think where we're located and the fact that we haven't, you know, we obviously haven't journeyed outside of the hotel property. Um I you know, we haven't witnessed it that close, but we we do still see smoke. I mean, we actually see smoke from from, you know, both sides of our, the balcony and then the other, you know, the hallway.
