US Exit Reshapes Middle East: Iran's New Regional Power?

If Trump says we have an agreement with Iran, even if he fabricates it, and thus we can, you know, remove our military from the area. That doesn't resolve the straight of Hormuz that of course Iran maintains control over the straight and can selectively allow certain ships to pass through and not others. But also, I think more importantly from the US State Department point of view, the US presence in that area is now gone. I mean, the the the Fifth Fleet headquarters, the bases in in uh, you know, Kuwait, Iraq. Look, we practically evacuated the military bases in Iraq at this point. And and, you know, the the future of the US in that region seems to be gone at this point. What's your take on that? Yeah, no, it's uh, the the face of the Middle East has now been remade.
