The 'Godzilla Niño' Threat: Is a Global Food Crisis Imminent?

In terms of meteorology, we're being told that this is going to be a an El Niño year with very warm ocean currents and also even under the surface of the ocean, a layer of unusually warm water that's kind of working its way across the the Pacific, uh, kind of near the equator, I suppose or thereabouts. Um, in in your studies, what does this mean to you when they're warning about a big El Niño year like we haven't seen for 50 years or something like that? I mean, in terms of crop production. Well, they keep going back to the 1877 El Niño where there was a huge loss of life on the planet because of, well, food production wipeouts. But again, we didn't have the supply chains, the Green Revolution wasn't there, they weren't producing as much food. So, the last projections I looked at were 3.4 degrees Celsius rise in water temperatures, that's pretty much Wow, the average, yeah, some were putting it higher at four and a half or five degrees Celsius rise.
