Now the world faces an economic choke hold that I have been predicting for years. Oil traffic through the straight has dropped to zero and global supply chains are fracturing. Plumbing fittings that once cost 75 cents now run $28. Fuel shortages loom. India just raised prices for the first time in years and we are weeks from California running out of diesel.
