The Little Farm at the End of the Road: A Food Forest Vision

Tell us about your food forest project. I know it's a work in progress, but what what are you up to with that and what's your long-term plan for it? Uh, we want to be the little farm at the end of the road. There, we used to have like Christopher Robin's 100-acre wood out there, and it's almost all but uh, you'd say the last 25 acres or so, five of which are ours, um are still standing. And, you know, it'd be really easy to hate 'em. It'd be really easy, you know, to be upset about this all time and all that. But we have kids, you know, and for me, kids has allowed me to try and be a little more omniscient, like stand back and kind of see the whole picture and um, there's gonna be 5,000 homes. There's gonna be all these families and all these kids. And if I was a parent living in there, which I did for a little bit of time in LA, um, I would want to know that at the end of the road, just a half mile down the way or less, uh, there's a farm with ...
