US-Iran Diplomacy: Can Trust Be Rebuilt for a Lasting Peace?

You've said in previous interviews, and I agree with you, that the the the US and and I'm paraphrasing, but the US really can't be negotiated with because or I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but the problem is, you know, the US will will murder the negotiators or will use it, as you said, perfidy as an excuse to launch an attack. And so and numerous Iranian officials have said that we cannot negotiate with the United States of America because the people that are serving in that in that role, Witcoff and and Kushner, etc, are not trustworthy, they're not operating in good faith, and they they never keep their word. So my question to you, Scott, uh, first of all, feel free to correct me if I've said anything incorrect there, but how how does there ever become a diplomatic solution to this? Because there has to be an alternative to war. Um, you know, that's just the you know, the fact that the Iranians despise uh, Witcoff and Kushner is irrelevant. I mean, because at the end of the day, um, the United States and Iran are going to have to come to some sort ...
