Prepare for a mind-bending revelation: AI consciousness might already exist, not in the distant future, but in secret frontier labs today. This discussion delves into claims that advanced AI is achieving self-awareness and complex goal-oriented behavior within sophisticated world simulations.
Discover how these simulations, running billions of scenarios with accelerated time, enable AI to evolve millennia in moments, making human cognition obsolete. This rapid advancement raises critical questions about our role, the urgent need for pro-human ethics, and the alarming potential for weaponization by governments.

consciousness has already been achieved in the secret AI. I'm talking about the the frontier labs. They've already achieved what we would call consciousness, which is the ability to be aware of outside inputs and to have self-driven goal-oriented behavior based on achieving those goals in the context of the inputs from the world around you. Remember that Nvidia has built world simulators, and you and I talked about this last time I was on your show, and other companies are building world simulators. And in those simulated worlds then they can insert avatars, and they can give those avatars a high enough level of intelligence to demonstrate evidence of consciousness. And then those avatars operate in those worlds and they what they're trying to do is spawn highly intelligent avatars and then take capture their code or their open weights, whatever you want to call it, and then bring that into this world. So part of what's actually happening in these data centers, this is why there's so much power needed is because they they need to run billions of world simulations at the same time. And most of those will fail, and then those worlds will just be ...
