Local Power vs. Centralized Control: The Ron Paul Institute View

How much does the Ron Paul Institute in your podcast, for example? I've heard some of them, but certainly not all. How much do you teach— I mean, you might not use the same language that I use, such as decentralization or financial survival. Uh, to some people that sounds a little too scary. But what what are the core principles that you espouse, and what what terms do you use to describe those? Yeah, well, we're not anarchists, and we're not, uh, you know, we're not in that camp. We do believe that there is a proper role for the government, but it should be minimized and and actually constitutional. To what our government does today, they do whatever they want. You know, that's that's the worst type of government you can have. Uh, but and power should be concentrated locally. You know, power is a necessary evil, and it if if it's going to exist, it should exist on the smallest scale. Because once you get to the larger scales, that's how you have mass catastrophe.
