AI's Dark Future: Jobs Lost, Environment Destroyed

There is this huge disconnect between what is good for the American people and what is good for this kind of tech, uh, oligarch world that continues to consume all of the resources and they're consuming up all of it's it feels like they're consuming up humanity. That's what it feels like they're doing. There's no jobs in the future because AI's going to take all the jobs, it's going to replace so many people, it's going to replace massive amounts of our workforce. It's not necessarily making our lives better in the long term, but in the short term, it's having these dismal effects on people who right now are barely making it. Yeah, and if you if you listen to the top uh tech company CEOs and tech leaders, they will tell you that what they're seeking to do is to build artificial general intelligence or AGI that can replace most cognitive human work, which would be office jobs, uh but also lots of customer support jobs already being replaced.
