There's something really fascinating about the therapeutic effects of just realizing that the dream world is a projection of your own mind. And usually subconscious, usually without awareness that that's what's happening. But once once a person realizes that, then it's so empowering, right? As you just mentioned, if you can change just one thing. Right, uh it's even interesting in many of these uh research uh reports that they also found out that the those who didn't even become lucidly aware, just by understanding the idea of lucid dreaming, reported fewer nightmares. And and it's it's also interesting that the number one technique uh used for recurring nightmares is called imagery rehearsal therapy. So it's a therapy that doesn't even require lucidity. It's something that you do in your head during the day, but it's based on lucid dreaming principles. Uh and that's how it came into being. So so just understanding that you have some sense of agency, some sense of control, some such sense of influence, that's enough to to make a change, uh with these people who have PTSD.
